| Summary, etc. | Dr. William Jennings Price served in a Special Forces unit in Viet Nam. He mustered out years later, disillusioned by those who conduct war. December 1999, his wife was murdered in a terrorist attack in Tel Aviv. He went to Afghanistan uninvited and undercover, scoping out training facilities, hoping to exact revenge for his wife. A secret government agency that knew of his lone operation commissioned him to covertly go back in alone and wipe out three desert terrorist training bases. He collaborates with an enemy soldier, rescues a small girl, and wrestles with his own motives. Does he fight for vengeance or out of duty? He finds the enemy is much closer to home and more dangerous than he could have known. After 9/11 he finds himself hunted by a vengeful enemy. |
